Barrow Deeps

Barrow Deeps is WoW Forever's new 10-player raid for level 60 characters. It opens on December 9, 2026, the same day as Hyjal Summit, and the two raids bring new tier sets.

The raid is a vast underground network that connects the night elves' barrow dens. It holds dangerous prisoners, among them a previously imprisoned demon hunter, and a corruption is spreading through its tunnels.

Ten players make a small raid, and there's no room to carry anyone: one undergeared or unprepared raider shows on every pull. The raid opens five weeks after launch, and those five weeks are your time to get all ten ready.

Reach 60

Level first. The sooner you hit 60, the more of those five weeks go into gear instead of experience.

Then respec out of your leveling talents. Every spec guide in our class guides has a level 60 build to switch to.

Gear up in the endgame dungeons

Work through the endgame dungeons in level order:

1. Blackrock Depths
2. Dire Maul
3. Lower Blackrock Spire
4. Scholomance and Stratholme
5. Upper Blackrock Spire

Both halves of Blackrock Spire take ten players, the same as Barrow Deeps. Run them with your raid group: you gear up and learn to play together on the same night.

Fill your weakest slots first. Replacing a leftover leveling item is a bigger upgrade than polishing a slot that's already good.

Build your group

Build around two tanks and two or three healers, and fill the other slots with damage dealers. Then line up a backup or two: with only ten slots, one missing player can cancel a raid night.

Pick a raid leader who calls the pulls, and settle on voice chat and a start time all ten can make.

Stock consumables

New bosses take attempts to learn, and every attempt costs consumables. Stock up before December 9:

• health and mana potions;
• food and elixirs for your role;
• bandages;
• gold for repairs.

Crafting professions pay off here. An alchemist in the group makes its potions and elixirs, and a cook makes its food.

• Set your raid night and your ten names now, and run Blackrock Spire as that ten every week until the raid opens.
• With new tier sets on the table, agree on loot rules before the first pull.
• Keep a backup tank and a backup healer on call. Those are the two slots a 10-player raid can't fill with just anyone.
